How It All Started
Ted D Fullmer, President started working in the sawmills in 1972 after getting back from the Marine Corp.
Ted and his father Ernie started Fullmer Lumber January 1, 1973. It grew to be a major seconday manufacturere of Doug Fir clears and distributied products to all 48 states and Hawaii. A family business, it went through many changes until 2001 when the wholesale division for the company was sold.
In 1995 we leased a sawmill from Willamette Industries in Sweet Home, Oregon. That was a great experience. Unfortunaltly it was shut down in 2002. Since that time we have continued to wholesale and manufacture specialty products.
Today the company is solely owned and operated by Ted. He has 47 years of experience in all aspects of the the lumber business.
